This prestigious project is a mixed use development of commercial offices and retail space. It is an addition to Salam’s existing retail premises. The project has a gross floor area of approximately 140,000 square metres and is situated in West Bay, North Doha, the new business centre of Qatar’s capital city.
The building is of traditional reinforced concrete construction clad utilising a curtain wall facade. The project also includes a basement car park and external works and ancillary services.
Northcroft Middle East was appointed as the independent Cost Consultant and was fully involved in pre and post contract activities including the development of the project from concept design through to preparation of tender and contract documents and ultimately responsible for post-contract on site quantity surveying and contract administration services through to final account.
Northcroft Middle East also successfully assisted the Client to defend a claim for extension of time from the main contractor.
