Completed in 2000, the bank’s new headquarters were located on the prestigious Doha Corniche. The building was supported on cast in-situ concrete piles and consisted of a basement, ground, plus five floors above of a total of approximately 10,800m2.

The building was of traditional reinforced concrete construction with pre-cast hollow core slab floors, blockwork infill and facades utilising pre-cast concrete panels and curtain walling. The project also included the provision of external works and ancillary services.

Northcroft Middle East was fully involved in the development of the project from concept design through to preparation of tender and contract documents and ultimately responsible for post-contract on site quantity surveying services through to final account.

The building was demolished in 2009.
